AECO Technologies Sdn. Bhd. or formerly known as Advanced Equipment Co., was established in 1985 to service land, marine, air, navigation, radio and satellite communication and marine electronics sector in Southeast Asia. It has since grown to become GARMIN Authorised Distributor in Malaysia. Highly awarded and family owned, it was the first company to bring in Global Positioning System (GPS) technology in 1989 when the infant GPS was first made available to the masses.
Position / Duties
As a Sales Executive you will have ideally come from a business development role in a similar position where you would have liaising with clients, and all levels of management.
You will also be need to be an exceptional communicator, be results-orientated and driven to achieve sales targets. It is critical to this role that you maintain an extensive knowledge of both GARMIN’s and our competitor’s products. You must be a team player who has clear goals and one who sets and achieves a high standard of excellence in work ethic and commitment, whilst striving for continuous improvement.

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
• Managing inbound customer enquiries
• Pro-active outbound sales
• Co-ordination of product delivery
• Providing professional quotes to customers
• Providing support to the Sales Manager
The ideal candidate will have two years experience in a similar role, however quality recent graduates will be considered. They will have a diploma or at least an SPM certificate. Ability to converse in multiple languages is a plus. The position is based at Taman Maluri, Chears and a car is essential.
Skills

- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet and email
- At least 2 years sales experience on a B2B and B2C level
- Excellent team building and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside members of other departments
- The ability to think analytically, and with a positive attitude
- A good grasp of English and Malay is essential
- Knowledge of a similar industry
- The ability to prospect and hunt for new business
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Possess a car and willingness to travel
If you have any experience with the following let us know as it will be beneficial to your application:
- Multiple languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil, etc. is a plus
- Knowledge of installation and events is preferred but not necessary
Remuneration
Wage is negotiable, dependent upon the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
